CONFERENCE

The XIII South East Asia Textile Business conference was held in Jakarta during 4-6 February 2004. Delegates from all the five overseas Spinning units namely PTE, PTS, ILT, ITS & IPT and those from India engaged in intense dialogues in areas of technical, Materials, Engineering and Marketing under the Superintendence of top management executives of Textile Business. The conference was inaugurated by Shri O.P. Puranmalkaji (BRC ,Textile Business) and steered by Shri D. Mittalji, Business Head. Stretched targets norms were finalized in the conference. Norms for power consumption in spinning units were formulated for the first time in the history of our Textile business which can be considered a landmark achievement.
